So long sweet summer

Summer has come and gone and so much has changed over the span of four months. From things as big as families members passing away to a more beautiful place to be with loved ones they haven't seen for years to little things like the sweet new scar I have on my arm, this has been the summer of change. New friendships were formed, old friendships became stronger, some became more distant and despite what happened during the last semester of my freshman year, friends I thought I would never speak to again came back into my life. In order to gain you have to sacrifice, but what if the things that you sacrifice are better than the new things you gain?
