Ye ole' post.

Tomorrow at approximately 4:30, depending on how long Tyler takes to inspect every nook and cranny in my room, I will make my 10 minute journey back to good ole Sylvania. Back to getting more than 4 hours of sleep a night. Back to eating a home cooked meal everyday. Back to waking up before the sun goes down on the weekends. Back to not knowing what Cottage Inn is. Back to having some privacy. I'll miss my UT friends soooo much. Have a wonderful, safe, and exciting summer. Whether you will be in Columbus working at Long Horn, in Toledo not knowing where you are going to stay for the summer, or Virgina trying to make friends on the playground, remember all the wonderful times we've had this year. When my dad was helping me move out he asked me if I learned anything this year.....

  1. If you can't hold your alcohol well, make sure Byrd is around to take care of you.
  2. Punching the wall will not affect the person you are mad at, only your poor broken fingers.
  3. If you do get sick make sure you have plenty of cups to vomit into.
  4. While fighting, spitting on someone is always the game winner.
  5. Skate boarding is not for some people.
  6. You don't need more than 4 hours of sleep a night despite what the doctors say.

7. Fire alarms are clearly the only way to get out of an uncomfortable situation.

8. Libby's bed is every ones favorite spot to sleep and sit when she isn't here.

9. Tony and Bermuda have a special bond.

10. Taco bell is the place to go no matter what time it is and you will always see at least one person that you know.

11. Rocket and dining dollars are non-existent after the first month of the semester.

12. Every ones parents ask the same question after receiving the credit card bill, "What is this Cottage Inn place?"

13. Everyone has slept on the Futon at least once, usually with someone else.

14. I now have to get a cover for the futon because of how many people have slept on it.

15. No matter how many times the R.A's had to come to room 2305, NEVER was anyone written up nor did we ever get a fine.

16. When someone suggests breakfast and everyone decides to take a half hour nap you should always set your own alarm. If not something like this will happen. Everyone falls asleep around 5:40 am. You wake up at noon. You've missed breakfast, your first class, and your next class starts in ten minutes. You look around and 10 other people are passed out in various spots of the room and they are all in the same situation as you. The person that said they would wake everyone up is the only one that actually got up.

17. When we actually did make it to breakfast everyone was so tired that we barely ate anything and just sat at the table and looked at each other.

18. We were always able to sit at the Table of Truth no matter what day or what time we went.

19. The nights before we would leave for break were always the most eventful.....

20. Everyone has said at least once that they are transferring next year....We're all coming back.

21. Truth or Dare only brought us closer. Sometimes a little too close.

22. If you ask anyone where their favorite place to have a party is, everyone will tell you Bijou, even though every time we go chairs get thrown, Toledo vs Cleveland fights break out, and we've been maced.

No, Dad. I didn't learn much......
