My Family

So, it's 1:17 am. I just woke up and had a door slammed in my face by a 5 year old. Ashley isn't here. Caroline won't bring me pizza. Jessica is 10 hours away. Mimi is too busy playing would you rather. Dominique is at the Kappa house. I miss my family. Oh I'm sorry I'm so rude. Let me introduce them to you.

This is my family. Mommy, Daddy, Hannah, and Chase. Don't worry about the fact that I don't look anything like any of them. Some times that happens.

Meet my mom. I like to call her Brandi. You can just call her mom. Her favorite pass times include sitting on the couch eating Bon bons and roller hockey. OK, so not really. She's a wonderful cook and she has wonderful decorating taste. She can't sing well, but she tries. A+ for effort, Mommy. I get my sense of humor from her and once we start laughing it's really hard to get us to stop. The most important thing you need to know about my mom is she stole Lola from me and won't give me her back. I love her anyway. Actually what you should know about my mom is she is the most (insert antonym for selfish here) person you will ever meet. Despite what I might say every once in a while she's my most favorite person.

Meet Hannah. She's 5. She acts like she's 20. She attends Preschool. She's kind of nervous about kindergarden next year. She's one of my favorite people in the entire world. She loves horses and she kicks butt in My Little Pony Memory. The most important thing to know about Hannah is she is the easiest person in the world to get along with, but she's also the most stubborn.

Meet my dad. His name is Monty. If you are lucky enough to ever have a conversation with him you should just call him Monty. Don't let the picture fool you, he isn't a cowboy. He actually builds things. He really, really likes Michigan, big dogs, and my mom. I just threw that last one in there for a little twist. The most important thing to know about my dad is he doesn't say much, but when he does it's actually pretty funny.

Meet Chase. He's 7. He used to like me a lot, but these days I'm beginning to think I'm declining down the pole of Chase's Favorite People. He's in first grade. He doesn't like going to school. He'd rather stay at home with my mom, but then again who wouldn't. Give him a math problem and wait to be amazed. He got that from my dad. He loves to play video games and even though Hannah does things to make him mad he is the best brother EVER. The most important thing for you to know about Chase is he has the most contagious laugh.

Meet Lola. She is my puppy. She looks kind of pissed off in this picture, but don't be deceived. She is the nicest dog you will ever meet. She loves human contact and I am her favorite person. She doesn't really listen. Actually she doesn't listen at all. She just recently started fetching. She used to just look at the ball and not move. When I move into my apartment she's not coming with me and that makes me really sad. The most important thing that you should know about Lola is sometimes she runs away and waits on the front porch for someone to let her back in. That's how much she loves us.

*** I don't have a picture of Casey on my computer, but next time I go home I'll put one on and make a whole post dedicated to my faithful friend.
